Central Vermont Committee

Welcome to our Central Vermont Committee

The Central Vermont Committee was formed over seven years ago to provide members of the HBRANV who live and work in the Washington county area with networking and educational benefits in their area.  This council help HBRANV brainstorm, plan and execute events and benefits to members in Washington county area.  This council currently holds membership mixers, a Thunder Road Summer Event, Holiday Party and recently helped with a Lydonville Vermont Irene Project.

Central Vermont Council is Hosting our HBRANV Holiday Party:
Date:  December 6, 2016
Location:   Canadian Club, Barre Vermont
Time: Social Hour 6 PM; Dinner 7 PM
Cost:   $TBD

Central Vermont Committee worked on a Central Vermont Community Action Committee to assist a family in need of help with their house that was damaged due to the IRENE Flooding.

HBRANV's Central Committee is working with Community Action to help restore a home in Lyndonville that was destroyed by the flooding.

A single father, with one child, in Lyndonville lost his home after the Irene flooding.  He has rebuilt most of it on his own but the house is not yet livable.  Community Action was put in place to help restore homes and will lose their federal funding in a couple of months.  As the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont, we want to step up to help this family have their home back.

Special Thank You to our Members who volunteered there time, materials and coordination of this:

Rick Fournier - Interior Creations - donated his time and was extremely gracious in donating new cabinets to the home!
Mark Groleau - Groleau Construction
Rick Commo - Portland Glass
David Ritzer - David Ritzer and Associates

Thank you for your dedication and support to the community and association!
